Guys, guys, The Last Guardian is real! The game which has taken us on an emotional rollercoaster throughout its development process was shown off during Sony's E3 press conference. We don't have a release date, but I think many of us will settle for the fact that it's still alive.
The Last Guardian has been in development since 2007 and was initially revealed in 2009. Since then, it's been in development limbo. One of the last statements released by the game's creator Fumito Ueda was that regardless of the "hardships" due to "an "unforeseen amount of time required than what was originally thought," the game was "making progress under completely new conditions."
Prior to E3 it was even rumored to be making an appearance during Sony's event (a rumor that comes around at least once a year).
Well that progress was shown off in great length as Sony gave us a glimpse at the wonderful gameplay that awaits us on PlayStation 4.
