The Last of Us: Left Behind goes Gold

The Last of Us' upcoming downloadable content, Left Behind, has officially gone gold. That means it's completely finished and ready to go into production. If this was a full-fledged physical release, they'd begin sending it off for mass production.

New of Left Behind going gold comes from The Last of Us game director Bruce Straley who posted a screenshot of the DLC being a selectable option in the game's menu along with the message: "GOLD!" Can't get more straightforward than that.

So now there's nothing left to do but sit and wait until it pops up on the PlayStation Store on February 14th. Ah yes, it's going to be a great Valentine's Day. Want to torture yourself with the wait? You can watch the first three minutes of Left Behind right now.
