As part of the latest PlayStation Store update, all The Last of Us multiplayer maps have been made free on PS3. This includes all eight maps from the Abandoned Territories and Reclaimed Territories map packs, those being Surbubs, Bus Depot, Hometown, Bookstore, Wharf, Capitol, Coal Mine and Water Tower. Unfortunately, PSN is down at the time of writing, so downloading them will be tricky.
The territory map packs were included with The Last of Us Remastered, so it's no surprise to see them ditch price tags altogether. Doubly so since Naughty Dog is no stranger to free multiplayer content: the online component of Uncharted 3 became a free standalone less than 18 months after its release, which is to say nothing of the free maps PlayStation Plus members picked up.
Sales aside, the only other significant price change was to the Prototype Franchise bundle, which has dropped to $49.99. This comes on the heels of the surprise news that a remastered version of the bundle is now heading to Xbox One, and that both Prototype games will eventually release in HD on Xbox One and PS4 individually.
