Last month, Sony revealed a PS4 bundle containing The Last of Us: Remastered, exclusively for Europe. While there was no announcement regarding a North American bundle, it was widely expected to be announced. Today it was, but here's the catch: it's exclusive to Canada.
Priced at $449.99, the Canada-exclusive bundle includesa standard PlayStation 4, DualShock 4 wireless controller, and a downloadable copy of The Last of Us: Remastered. I'd be jealous except for the fact that there is really no reason to be. At $449.99, this bundle is priced exactly at the cost of purchasing each of the contents individually. So with no special goodies and no savings, what's the point?
I suppose if you don't already own a PS4 it's a good purchase because The Last of Us is a must-buy. I just would've appreciated something extra thrown in. Then again, I don't live in Canada so my opinion doesn't matter.
Update: It's been brought to my attention that the PS4 is actually $450 in Canada right now, so this bundle actually saves you $50 if you live there. So that's kinda cool.
