Ubisoft today released its sales figures for the 12-month period ending March 31, 2013, revealing a pretty solid fiscal year. The publisher/developer conglomerate finished with $1.615 billion in revenue and $83.3 million in profit, an 18.3% and 73.7% year-over-year increase, respectively.
$1.193 billion of Ubisoft's revenue was generated from games for "core gamers." This consists of two extremely popular titles: Far Cry 3 and Assassin's Creed 3. According to the latest figures, Far Cry 3 has now sold 6 million units since its release late last year. Assassin's Creed 3, meanwhile, is now at a record-breaking 12.5 million units. For Far Cry 3, this is a 1.5 million increase over what was reported in Ubisoft's Q3 financial report back in February.
Ubisoft's casual games had a bit of a contraction, accounting for just 26% of total sales. However, Just Dance 4 continued its surge as an industry leader with 8.5 million units sold.
