The official cast list for the live-action(ish) adaptation of The Lion King has been revealed! The list confirms that the rumor about Beyonce joining the cast as the voice of Nala has turned out to be and the rest of the reveals have been cemented in stone.
While Disney has not made any footage of the upcoming The Lion King available, but they have shown some of off during D23 and ComicCon. According to reports, the 'live-action' adaptation is more of a 'realistic CGI animals on real environments' live-action movie.

Alfre Woodard, the original voice of Simba's mother in the animated The Lion King, will reprise her role, Donald Glover will play Simba, James Earl Jones will reprise his role as Mufasa, John Oliver will voice Zazu, Seth Rogen will voice Pumbaa the Warthog and Billy Eichner will voice Timon. Chiwetel Ejiofor is in talks to voice Scar and Beyonce will voice Nala.
