At San Diego Comic-Cony today, Warner Bros. released the new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It received a standing ovation, and now you can see why.
The new three minute trailer gives us a much better look at the film than the previous teaser released back in April, showing off some new footage that includes Gal Gadot in action as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg's manipulation as Lex Luthor, and the intense feud of Batman and Superman, played by Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, respectively.
More importantly, the trailer provides some context for Bruce Wayne's grudge against Superman, showing the Dark Knight's perspective during the fight between Superman and Zod in 2013's Superman: Man of Steel.
I don't know how all of this will unfold in the movie, but I'm going to take a shot int he dark here — while Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman are all duking it out, Lex Luthor is going to break into some museum housing Kryptonite and somehow devise his brilliant plan to take over the world.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to release May 25, 2015. Any skepticism or doubts you may have had about the film are probably squashed now.
