Sony has acknowledged that the PlayStation 4/Vita Ultimate Player Edition bundle, which was revealed through an Amazon product page, is, in fact, real. The catch, however, is that it will only be available in certain markets.
"The availability of the PS4 / PS Vita bundle will be determined and announced on a regional basis," a Sony spokesperson told Eurogamer. The listing was originally posted by Amazon France, so perhaps that will be one of the available markets?
Without any further clarification, we don't know if this means the United States will see such a bundle, but I have a hard time believing Sony will ignore one of the PS4's larger markets. With most early adopters having probably purchased a PS4 already, a bundle could inspire additional people to get one.
With E3 right around the corner, it's possible Sony could formally unveil the PS4/Vita Ultimate Player Edition bundle at its E3 press conference.
