If a new rumor turns out to be true, than the next Spider-Man film could have a title that strongly ties it to Marvel's Cinematic Universe.
According to Latino Review, the new Spider-Man reboot from Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures will be titled "Spider-Man: The New Avenger," indicating the famous web-slinger could be the newest addition to the Avengers team.
Not much is detailed regarding the new Spider-Man film but we have heard bits and pieces of juicy nuggets that are worth speculating over. For starters, we know the new film will not be an origin story, and will instead focus on the character's high school years. So far casting for Peter Parker/Spider-Man has been narrowed down to five actors.
Whatever the new Spider-Man reboot will be titled (or about), it's coming on July 27, 2017 — a year before the first installment of Marvel's two-part Avengers: Infinity War.
