Sims fans eager to get their hands on the latest installment of the franchise will be able to do so later this summer with the release of The Sims 4 Create a Sim demo.
In a blog post mostly detailing the developer's decision to omit swimming pools and toddlers from the base game, executive producer Rachel Franklin also slipped in that invitations to an "early trial experience" will be going out "very soon" to a limited number of fans to help test the demo. After that, the demo will be released for "absolutely everyone" to get their hands on and see the "depth, personality and emotion that are part of your new Sims."
Franklin also added that they'll be releasing over 15 minutes of in-game Live Mode footage some time in the next two weeks.
