YES! Pools are coming to The Sims 4.
EA told fans to get their "Sim-suits ready" as pools will make their triumphant debut in The Sims 4 this November as part of a free content update. It'll actually be the second of three announced content updates for the game — the first releasing today for October, and the third coming in December.
All three are free and will provide players with all sorts of unique content. Today's update adds Ghosts, Star Wars costumes, and additional eye colors. In December, we'll be getting new Career paths and rewards.
Of course, judging by the amount of outrage prior to release, I'm going to guess fans are most excited for the arrival of pools, something EA originally chose to put on the backburner in order to deliver on the initial vision of The Sims 4 — which I guess is new experiences that bring your Sims to life in deeper and uniquely personal ways? I think a lot of us would rather have the pools.
Unfortunately, there was no mention of toddlers being added to the game, another feature that wasn't included in the game, much to fans' displeasure.
