The Sims 4 launch trailer is filled with emotion and weirdness

We're still a few days away from being able to enjoy The Sims 4, but over the weekend, EA went ahead and released the official launch trailer for the game.

I have to say, it's not the weirdest video we've seen of the game yet. It's actually quite tame compared to what we've seen. That's not to say there isn't any weirdness, though. After all, both Amber and the most least interesting man both make an appearance. There's also tons of other fascinating characters including the goof, bro, dude, diva, oddball and creeper — just a few of the types of personalities you're sure to encounter while playing The Sims 4.

The Sims 4 is due out on PC on September 2. It's going to be a party — a strange, strange party.

If you absolutely can not wait, you can get a taste of what to expect with the Create a Sim demo, now available for free on Origin. Some of the characters people have managed to create are freaking amazing.
