Earlier this month, EA producer Ryan Vaughan walked us through the creation of Bella and Mortimer Goth, giving us a look at the powerful tools available for creating sims in The Sims 4. Today, it's time to create their house using the game's Build Mode. Designer John Berges gives shows us just how faster and easier it is to build a home in The Sims 4, with more detail than ever before.
As you'll see in the video, The Sims 4 allows you to create an ideal floor plan by drawing walls or simply placing down rooms and shaping them to your desire. To make things faster, you can place already-furnished rooms. In addition to making the creation process easier, The Sims 4 also makes it more in-depth. Walls can be raised or lowered; windows heights can be positioned individually; and architectural details can be added with just a few clicks. Basically, The Sims 4 makes building a house easier and faster, while simultaneously expanding the number of customizable options available to you.
The Sims 4 is set to release this fall for PC. More of the game will be shown at E3 next month, likely during Ea's press briefing on Monday, June 9.
