The Walking Dead Onslaught comes to PSVR & PCVR next month

A new virtual reality experience set in the popular zombie universe of The Walking Dead is launching next month for PC and PlayStation 4. The Walking Dead Onslaught will offer players to survive the zombie apocalypse right in the shoes of fan-favorite characters like Daryl. Check out the new trailer below!

The Walking Dead is one of the more uneven franchises that transitioned into gaming. For every outstanding entry like the seminal Telltale adventure franchise there are outright terrible ones like the infamous Survival Instinct.

But one thing is for certain, virtual reality is a perfect fit to convey the slow and dangerous action of fighting and surviving again the undead hordes. That’s what makes The Walking Dead Onslaught so promising.

The official VR game of AMC’s The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead Onslaught invites players to assume the roles of their favorite survivors from the TV series, struggling against the relentless walker threat while confronting both the horrors and humanity of this apocalyptic new world.
Onslaught introduces the most visceral combat experience that veteran VR-studio Survios has built to date. Scavenge and wield an arsenal of iconic melee and ranged weapons using real-motion VR mechanics – and experience the variety of their graphic end results.

The Walking Dead Onslaught is launching on September 29th  for PC and PS4. The game is exclusive for virtual reality headsets like the PSVR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, etc.
