While Telltale Games was a bit vague in confirming platforms for The Walking Dead: Season Two, Sony has been a bit more open — flat out announcing it will be available on PS3 and PlayStation Vita.
"The Walking Dead: Season Two – A Telltale Games Series will consist of five episodes that will release for digital download over the course of the season, expected to premiere this year and conclude in 2014," Sony confirmed. "You’ll be able to purchase episodes individually as they release for PS3 and PS Vita via PSN, or get the season pass for the best value."
While a PS3 version was obviously a given, there was some question regarding a Vita release. After all, it took over a year for Telltale to bring the game over to Sony's handheld device. Unfortunately, we don't yet know if the Vita version will arrive at the same time as the PS3 version, or if it will be a cross-buy title.
We also don't know if there will be a PS4 version released as Sony wasn't quite as willing to reveal that. However, Telltale did say in their press release that the second season will be coming to PC/Mac, home consoles, and iOS, "with additional platforms to be announced." Soooo, Xbox One and PS4?
