The Walking Dead: Season 2 gets an Xbox 360 release date

Microsoft has revealed the Xbox 360 release date for Telltale Games' The Walking Dead Season 2. Episode One, titled "What Lies Ahead," is set to debut for Xbox LIVE Arcade on December 18, a day after the episode's PC release.

Telltale Games has yet to officially confirm any release dates for the opening episode, but Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb revealed the date as part of a list of games "coming soon to the Xbox Live Game Store." Meanwhile, last week, the game's Steam product page revealed the PC date, December 17.

Hryb notes that Episode One: What Lies Ahead will be priced at $4.99; however, a season pass is expected to also be available for purchase for $15, granting you access to all five episodes in the new season.

Anyone needing to catch up before the release of Season Two will be able to purchase all episodes of The Walking Dead: Season One at a 66 percent discount between December 16 and December 23. Episode One of Season One will likely remain free for everyone.
