We have been hearing about Negan's arrival in AMC's The Walking Dead since the midseason finale trailer teased his arrival. If you're familiar with the comic series, you'll know that Negan is curse word spewing, bat-swinging, total badass of a character and it looks like Jeffrey Dean Morgan's portrayal of Negan won't be far from his comic book self.
Thanks to a promotional trailer for the Season 6 finale of The Walking Dead, we have our first look at Negan and his beloved bat, Lucille.
The show producers had a tough time keeping Negan true to his comic book self with all of his cursing, but they did their best. "I do have the material two ways right now. I’ll see what I can do with it. One way or another I want people to see full-octane Negan," said producer Scott M. Gimple. "Will I be able to shoot every scene like that? Probably not, but to tell you the truth, I think we will get as close to the version of full-octane Negan as we can through some version of the show or another.”
