The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's latest patch (1.05 for PC, 1.04 for consoles) released today for PC and PlayStation 4, but it looks like Xbox One owners will have to wait a bit longer for the massive amounts of fixes and changes.
According to community manager Marcin Momot, the latest patch won't hit Xbox One until sometime next week. Same goes for PS4 users in regions other than U.S. and Europe. No specific date was given.
It's unclear why the Xbox One patch is taking a bit longer, but I have a feeling it's due more to certification/timing than it is actual problems, especially since the PS4 version is out in certain regions and not others.
Complete patch notes for the update were posted online, and though only PC is mentioned, it can be assumed that the console versions are pretty similar. Check out the full patch notes for PC patch 1.05, and presumably patch 1.04, here.
You may not be able to actually play the game until next week, but at least you can always watch the lovely cinematic video. That's all that matters, right?
