Two years ago in February we first heard about the new game from Jonathan Blow, the creator of Braid, The Witness. In 2014, a year after the game's announcement, designer Orsi Spaynol revealed that the game was nearly complete. After that we heard about plenty of milestones being hit, but we never got a release date.
Well, we finally know when the PlayStation 4, PC and iOS devices will be seeing The Witness. Prepare your brains, the 3D-puzzler is releasing on January 26, 2016.
If you are a completionist , you can expect around 80 to 100 hours of gameplay. That's a huge jump, considering that Blow had initially thought the game would only be between 8 to 12 hours of gameplay. Development on the game hasn't thoroughly wrapped up, the developers are focused on fixing bugs and refining gameplay. Basically, they want to make sure the January release gives gamers the best experience possible.
