The Wolf Among Us: Episode Two – Smoke & Mirrors, the newest episode in Telltale Games' latest series based on Bill Willingham's Fables comic, is available today for Xbox 360.
It's been quite a while since the release of Episode One: Faith, so here's a quick reminder: In the game you play as Bigby Wolf (aka The Big Bad Wolf), the sherriff of Fabletown, who is tasked with keeping order with a society of mythical creatures and fairytale characters. After discovering the murder of one of the Fables, Bigby sets out to uncover the person — or creature — responsible.
Episode Two: Smoke & Mirrors will continue where the previous episode left off, taking into account the choices you made and reacting accordingly.
"We last left fans of 'FABLES' and 'The Wolf Among Us' on one of the most talked about cliffhangers in Telltale's history, and this week, we're taking players deeper into one of the darkest rabbit holes yet to be explored within the incredible universe that Bill Willingham has created," said Dan Connors, CEO and Co-Founder of Telltale Games. "Consequences of decisions made earlier truly begin to manifest in your relationships with the citizens of Fabletown, as choosing when Bigby will either play nice or lose his cool becomes harder and harder as the stakes grow even higher."
Fans can currently purchase Episode 2: Smoke & Mirrors as a standalone epsiode from the Xbox Marketplace for $4.99. Alternatively, you can purchase the Season Pass for $14.99 and gain access to all episodes as they release. Note: Unfortunately, there appears to be a problem with Episode Two being free for Season Pass holders right. Sit tight, as Xbox support has said they are looking into the issue.
