Look, I got a Chrono Trigger track last set of US DLC releases for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call – I’ll be satisfied for a good bit. For those of you who don’t care for Chrono Trigger or can’t be merely satisfied by one measly track, I have good news for you. In Japan, Theatrhythm junkies have had six new DLC options added to their repertoire.
What songs you ask? I just happen to have a list right here!
- Final Fantasy VII – Opening Bombing Mission (BMS)
- Final Fantasy XIV – Primal Judgment
- SaGa Frontier – Last Battle –T260G-
- Final Fantasy Adventure – In Search of the Sacred Sword
- Seiken Densetsu 3 – Sacrifice Part 3
- Xenogears – Soaring the Skies
At first, I didn’t know how I felt about all these non-Final Fantasy games going onto Theatrhythm. I’ll admit, I was seduced by Chrono Trigger and Bravely Default’s showing though. Now we’re talking SaGa Frontier AND Xenogears!? I got to say, I like this trend. Not only can I forgive Theatrhythm, I actually hope they keep adding more tracks from other Square Enix games. As long as they keep new Final Fantasy tracks coming, I say they add ALL the tracks!
So just to re-clarify, these songs are currently ONLY in Japan. Will they come to North America? Dunno, we can hope though. I’ll be happy to update any news the moment I hear it though! Dat Seibzehn in the background.
