There is a free Injustice: Gods Among Us game available on iOS

As of today, there is an Injustice: Gods Among Us game free to download on the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch via the app store. This game is created by NetherRealm Studios and will feature unique fighting gameplay. Think of this game as an Injustice light. The characters, attacks, powers, levels, and everything you absolutely can’t wait until April 16th for is in this game – just on a smaller scale.

The graphics are absolutely outstanding for iOS. You start with three characters and unlock others the more you play. On top of that mechanic, the individual characters gain levels and can unlock better specials. The moves and specials in the iOS game mimic the exact moves that will be in the console title. Then on top of all that stuff, though the free iOS game, you’ll be able to unlock stuff for the console title – damn Injustice!

“The team at NeatherRealm Studios created a custom mobile experience for Injustice: Gods Among Us on the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch that delivers gameplay mechanics created specifically for the platform” said Ed Boon,” Creative Director, NetherRealm Studios.  “We’re excited to offer fans a new way to play fighting games that can be enjoyed alone or as a companion experience to the console versions.”

Good ole Ed Boon still has it. More ways to play fighting games the better. So as a recap, the Injustice fighting app is out for iOS RIGHT NOW and the console version of Injustice: Gods Among Us is coming April 16th – it’s soooo soon yet soooo far.
