Thief out today on Xbox One, PS4, and PC

Square Enix's reboot — or perhaps reinvention — of Thief, a franchise that helped define an entire genre of games, is available today for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It's been 10 years since Garrett's last outing in Deadly Shadows and we're ready to get back into the swing of things.

Garrett, the Master Thief, steps from the shadows into the City, a treacherous place ruled by a tyrannical Baron and his brutal Watch. When the citizens rise in bloody revolution, Garrett's thieving skills are all he can trust as he walks a fine line between politics and the people, revealing a darker secret that threatens to tear his world apart

As we wrote in our review, Thief "shines in the stealth department," which is a good thing considering that's the whole premise of the game. Gameplay is said to be heavily choice-driven, offering a number of possible paths and approaches; however, stealth will always be your best option.
