When it comes to console comparisons, most of the stuff you'll read probably liken the Wii U graphics to that of the current Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. That's great considering it's a jump for many to HD graphics, but when you think about next-gen consoles from Sony and Microsoft supposedly coming in the next few years, you may be hesitant to jump on the Nintendo bandwagon.
Of course, you don't want to tell any of this to Nintendo of America's Reggie Fils-Aime who is confident that the Wii U doesn't just feature different specs then its competitors, but completely outperforms them.
"The specs are quite different than the competitive systems, much more graphically intensive," Reggie said in an interview with CNN. "If you do a side by side comparison you would actually see third-party games like Call of Duty look dramatically better on our system."
"In terms of what competition's going to do in the future, we'll see. We know based on our own development this two screen gaming experience really is the next innovation consumers are gravitating to."
"It's selling extremely well here in the Americas. Already stocks are quote low in the marketplace. We're rapidly replenishing. So for us, certainly the consumer is deciding the innovation is well worth the investment," Reggie concluded.
Graphics aside, there's one major flaw with Call of Duty on the Wii U: NOBODY is playing it! Do you think the Wii U outperforms the Xbox 360 and PS3 or will it get left behind in the next-gen console war?
