Forget the special edition white Xbox One. Harrods, a high end retail store in the UK, is offering a gold-plated Xbox One that puts the Microsoft employee-exclusive version to shame.
Priced at £6,000, or roughly $9,773.99, the hardware is coated with real, 24-carat gold. Talk about having some bling to show off to your friends. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like there's a matching gold controller or Kinect.
What's odd is that the white Xbox One was still auctioned off for more than this — and this is real gold. If you're the type of person who enjoys overpaying for fancy things, you can find the gold-plated Xbox One at the store's sole location in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London.
Worth it?
