This isn’t just a war game, it’s a ‘Great Big War Game’

In case civil war capsules don't fill the void, mobile developer Rubicon Development has you covered with the launch of Great Big War Game.

Now available on the iTunes App Store and on Android's Google Play for $2.99, Great Big War "blends casual-yet-robust strategy gaming with a lighthearted graphical style reminiscent of plastic toy soldiers."

The sequel expands on the iOS hit Great Little War Game, lengthening the single-player campaign and introducing new online multiplayer among other features. You take on the role of the ambitious sergeant Jenkins as he attempts to appease the not-too-bright general while keeping his troops safe from enemy fire.

For just $2.99 you will get 50 single player campaigns, over 70 multiplayer maps to compete with friends locally or online, customizable armies featuring tons of units, and a silly, light-hearted take on war.

Because the game is platform-independent, you can compete with friends regardless of their device, as well as with players who opt for the PC, Mac, and Blackberry Playbook versions due out at a later time.

See you on the battlefield!
