CD Projekt RED has given us a look at this week's free batch of downloadable content for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. While we dont' have exact details, we do know that this week's free DLC will come in the form of a new quest and armor set for Geralt. And the images attached at least give us a decent idea as to what we can expect with:
Both pieces of DLC will presumably become available later this week, and will be completely free to download.
For those keeping track, these are packs 11 and 12 of CD Projekt RED's 16 planned DLC packs for The Witcher 3. Last week's bundle came in the form of a Scavenger Hunt for Wolf School Gear and an alternative look for Triss. Before that we had another new quest and neutral Gwent card set, as well as a Nilfgaardian Armor Set and an Elite Crossbow set. You can still download previously released content, which includes a new quest (Contract: Missing Miners), a cosmetic option for Yennefer, the Temerian Armor Set, and a set of new beards and hairstyles for Geralt. The reamining DLC packs will be released on a weekly basis throughout June and July.
Beyond the free DLC, CD Projekt Red plans to support The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with two "massive" expansions — "Hearts of Stone" and "Blood and Wine" — that are included in the game's Season Pass for $24.99.
