THQ outlines plans for WWE ’13 DLC

THQ has oultined their robust downloadable content plans and detailed the Fan Axxess Program for WWE '13, the next installment in the WWE video game franchise. The content offering includes an extensive list of additional playable WWE Superstars, Divas, "Attitude Era" icons, and more.

"With a great variety of roster additions, along with fan-favorite offerings for customization and unlockable access, WWE '13 delivers a comprehensive selection of downloadable content for the franchise," said THQ's VP of Global Brand Management Sean Ratcliffe. As of now, three content packs have been announced, along with their estimated release dates:

• Attitude Era Superstars Rikishi, Scotty 2 Hotty, Grand Master Sexay, Gangrel and Val Venis (available for $0.99/80 Microsoft Points each)
• Accelerator: enables players to unlock all in-game items, as well as customize individual WWE Superstar attributes (available for $1.99/160 Microsoft Points)

• WWE Superstars Tensai, Ryback, Drew McIntyre and Yoshi Tatsu and WWE Divas AJ Lee and Natalya (available for $0.99/80 Microsoft Points each)
• Undertaker "Ministry of Darkness" alternate attire (free)
• Championship Title Pack: 10 new championships from WWE, WCW, ECW and AWA (available for $1.99/160 Microsoft Points)

• WWE Superstars Damien Sandow, Antonio Cesaro, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso and Attitude Era Legends Brian Pillman and Chainsaw Charlie (available for $0.99/80 Microsoft Points each)
• WWE Diva Layla (free)
• Moves Pack: 20 new moves, including the Lionsault made popular by Chris Jericho and the Kimura Lock made popular by Brock Lesnar (available for $1.99/160 Microsoft Points)

All of the above downloadable content and future DLC for WWE '13 can be pre-purchased at a reduced price through the WWE '13 Fan Axxess Program.
