TimeShift headlines the latest batch of Xbox One backwards compatible games

Xbox One continues to expand its ever-growing library of backwards compatible games, as today gamers will be able to play 2007's time manipulation shooter, TimeShift, Assault Heroes 2, and Commanders: Attack of the Genos. As is the norm, digital versions of the game will automatically appear in your library, while disc copies are instantly playable, just by popping them in.

TimeShift was a Sci-Fi FPS that was one of the Xbox 360's earlier titles, landing in the console's second year on the market. Assault Heroes 2 was the follow-up to one of Xbox Live Arcade's earliest hits of the same name and was an arcade-style top-down shooter where players commandeered vehicles to shoot anything that moved. Commanders: Attack of the Genos was a turn-based tactical battle game that was one of the first of its kind on the Xbox Live Arcade.

You can still grab all three games on Xbox.com or through your console. Here's a breakdown of the pricing on each game with links.

GAME PRICE
TimeShift $29.99
Assault Heroes 2 $4.99
Commanders: Attack of the Genos $4.99
