Titanfall is this week’s Xbox One Deal with Gold

Over the weekend, I listed Titanfall as one of the must-play games for Xbox One owners during the summer drought. Now you'll get the chance to do so at a discount, provided you are an Xbox LIVE Gold member.

This week's Deals with Gold for Xbox One discounts Titanfall, the blockbuster shooter from Respawn Entertainment. Believed by many to be the best game available on Microsoft's new system, Titanfall pits you in a 6v6 multiplayer match online against other players. The game may seem like an ordinary first-person shooter, perhaps in the same vein as Call of Duty, but as you'll see in just a few short minutes of hands-on time, it plays much differently. Not only can you call down giant mechs, but as a pilot you have the ability to boost jump and wall-run, adding a fast-paced, parkour-driven feel to the game.

Titanfall will be discounted 33 percent from today through July 14. If you're more of a Call of Duty-type player, then you'll be happy to know that the Ghosts Season Pass is also discounted 40 percent this week.
