The upcoming beta for Titanfall, which has yet to be formally announced, will not be openly available to everybody.
According to a tweet from Vince Zampella, co-founder of developing studio Respawn Entertainment, you'll need some sort of code to gain access. Unfortunately, he didn't explain how exactly you'll be able to get one of these codes, and we've yet to hear further details from Respawn.
The good news is that the beta won't be tied to a pre-order of the game and Respawn is hoping to get "as many people in [the beta] as possible." When the beta codes are sent out, they will be done so in waves "to make sure it works."
The actual dates for Titanfall's beta have yet to be confirmed, but it's widely expected to begin on February 14th.
