Respawn Entertainment has finally confirmed a Season Pass for upcoming online shooter, Titanfall. While we all expected it, the studio had remain tight-lipped on the possibility; however, Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella yesterday confirmed the plans which include both free and paid updates to the game.
"We're going to do paid DLC, we're also going to do free updates," Zampella told GameSpot. "There are things that we want in the game that we didn't get to ship in the final game. So we'll add private matches and things like that for free.
"There will be some paid DLC," he added. "We're going to do a season pass just because if you buy it up front, it's a deal. We're not going to do microtransactions. So a season pass is just buy it up front, and you get a better price."
I don't think this news necessarily comes as a surprise as most online shooters offer some type of DLC, usually in the form of new maps, weapons, and multiplayer modes. Unfortunately, Zampella didn't share any details regarding future content, but at least we know it'll come.
