Toki Tori 2 landing on the Wii U eShop Dec. 20

It wasn't very long ago that indie developer Two Tribes announced Toki Tori 2. The follow-up to the studio's previous puzzle platformer, which is available on Steam and WiiWare, was revealed back in February for both Steam and the Wii U eShop.

Two Tribes has revealed a bit of insight on the planned launch of Toki Tori 2 on the Wii U. According to the dev, the game will launch on Nintendo's platform on December 20.

Regarding the Steam version of Toki Tori 2, puzzle platformer fans can look forward to that version down the road. According to the developer, when Nintendo unveiled the Wii U, Two Tribes decided to focus on developing the game for that platform.

While this was largely a business move — a very smart business move — intended to drive sales for the game on a brand new console, Two Tribes has stated that it hasn't forgotten its Steam fans. The company will continue work on that version following the game's December 20 launch on the Wii U.
