Toon Link added to Super Smash Bros. roster

Nintendo has revealed a brand new character that will be added to the roster of the new Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS — well, kind of new.

The Wind Waker star Toon Link was introduced through the game's official website alongside a batch of screenshots showing the cel-shaded version of The Legend of Zelda star in action.

No details regarding Toon Link's moveset have been revealed, but Nintendo urges everyone to head over to the official site for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD fore more information about the character. What I want to know is just how different his moves will be from the more traditional iteration of Link, who is also featured as a playable fighter in the game's roster.

Earlier this week, Nintendo posted a mysterious image of what appeared to be Mario proposing to Princess Peach in the opening cinematic of the game; but, we have our reservations. Either way I'm very excited to see more of this game moving forward. Who's excited!?
