According to Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.co.jp’s publicly released information, Call of Duty: Blacks Ops has finished as the top two games for the week in both North America and the UK, not that it would surprise anyone given the success of the series. In both regions, the Xbox 360 version outsold the PlayStation 3, both pushing ahead of Ubisoft’s mega successful dance game, Just Dance 2. The game is scheduled for release in Japan on November 18 and looks to be just as big there as it is here.

Japan: 1. Tactics Ogre: Unmei no Wa (Square Enix, PSP), 2. Tactics Ogre: Unmei no Wa – Limited Edition (Square Enix, PSP), 3. Super Mario Collection Special Pack (Nintendo, Wii), 4. Tongari Boushi to Mahou no Otana (Konami, DS), 5. Pocket Monsters Black (Nintendo, DS).
UK: 1. Call of Duty: Black Ops (Activision, X360), 2. Call of Duty: Black Ops (Activision, PS3), 3. Just Dance 2 (Ubisoft, Wii), 4. Professor Layton and the Lost Future (Nintendo, DS), 5. Football Manager 2011 (Sega, PC).
