Total War ROME 2 Emperor Edition is coming for free to some, but not all

If you've been playing Total War: Rome II there's something huge coming your way.

There's a huge update that will be coming to new players at a price (dubbed Emperor Edition) and free to existing players!

There should be an all around applause for that move.

The update reworks and improves current features. You'll be seeing improvements on the politics system, civil war mechanics, building chains, a new UI and rebalancing of the campaign. The update is basically an overhaul of the entire game – it even tweaks and improves graphics.

Oh, and it brings the Imperator Augustus Campaign Pack – the Pack that will throw you into the Roman Civil War, the very war that saw the Roman Republic fall and give way for the Roman Empire to rise with it's leader Augustus.

I should mention that existing owner wills also be recieving a MAC version of the game via Steam Play.
