Treyarch: ‘Go easy on the Christmas Noobs’ in Black Ops 2

Christmas is just around the corner which means plenty of newcomers will be unwrapping their gift of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. It also means the multiplayer servers will be flooded with tons of newcomers. Treyarch is asking that you "go easy on the Christmas Noobs."

"But we know you won't," they added in the latest message of the day (via Reddit) for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Treyarch recommends those booting up the game for the first time this year to spend some time in the Combat Training category where you can access the "Boot Camp" playlist.

"This is the best place for a new player to get up to speed on the game and all it has to offer," Treyarch said. "You can even rank up your first 10 levels playing against both human and AI-controlled opponents."

Aside from the speed of the game, I think the biggest disadvantage players are at is with the weapon unlocks. Those that have already reached level 55 (or even prestiged) have already unlocked the majority of the weapons and have experience with the attachments. Getting those first 10 levels could be key to survival in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Merry Christmas ya filthy animals.
