iOS gaming is a real thing. I have actually been addicted to Clash of Clans, Puzzles and Dragons, Bit.Trip Run! and Infinity Blade 3 since I made the switch back to iPhone a few weeks ago. So it's time that Mac and iOS products starts getting some legitimate headsets of their own. Enter Turtle Beach.
Now available from Turtle Beach is their iSeries of headsets, built specifically for Mac and iOS devices — the wireless surround sound i60 and the wireless amplified stereo i30. Both have a sexy, sleek style that falls in line with what you've come to expect from both Turtle Beach and Apple. I was able to try them out at E3 this past June, and I was blown away. Both headsets were extremely comfortable, sporting a leather headband and leather-covered memory foam, noise-isolating ear cups. Both heasets also use dual boom-less mics that work with voice call and Siri. So it has the great looks of Beats headphones, but with much, much more use and features.
The i60 comes with a control unit for Mac desktops so you can control audio and presets easily. It is the first wireless headset for Mac that has:
Meanwhile, the i30 features voice morphing and active noise cancellation.
Both the i60 and i30 are available now at Apple retail stores, Apple Online Store and the Turtle Beach Online Store. The i60 costs $399.99, and the i30 costs $299.99.
Stayed tuned for our review of the iSeries.
