At one point or another, while watching the E3 gameplay footage of Ubisoft's new IP Watch Dogs, you probably thought it would make for a really cool movie plot. I'll admit, over the weekend, I toyed with the idea that hacking into the electronic devices that connect the entire world would make for an entertaining film; then I thought how Hollywood completely ruins video game franchises and tossed that thought right out the window.
Apparently Ubisoft hasn't, however. According to Fusible, the company has purchased a number of domain names, all different variations of a Watch Dogs movie. The domain names registered include WatchDogsmovie.com, WatchDogsthemovie.com, Watch-Dogsmovie.com, Watch-Dogsthemovie.com.
Ubisoft has already been rumored to be in talks with Paramount and Warner Bros. over the possibility of a Splinter Cell film. Do they just want to see their game's turned into complete garbage?
