Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon was first teased on April 1, 2013, or better known as April Fool's Day. Easily the worst day on the internet, it's easy to understand the skepticism that surroundings its first teaser. But now several days, and a few leaks later, Ubisoft has officially confirmed its existence. Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon is, in fact, real — and we have a trailer to prove it.
Better yet, this 80s-styled first-person shooter will exist as a standalone XBLA, PSN, and PC title, meaning you won't need Far Cry 3 to play it. As previously leaked, Blood Dragon will be available on May 1, although pricing remains a mystery. For what it's worth, a new Steam listing prices it for $14.99.
In the game you play as Sergeant Rex Colt, part man, part machine, all American. Youre mission is simple: get the girl, kill the bad guys, and save the girl. And because this is the 80's vision of the future, who better to voice Rex than 80s action star Michael Biehn (The Terminator, Aliens)?
