Ubisoft provides crash course for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag

Captain Edward Kenway's ship is nearly in sight. With a week to go until the release of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Ubisoft has released a "101" crash course video teaching you "everything there is to know about the largest and most immersive Assassin's game ever created."

The video introduces you to Edward Kenway and his band of outlaw pirates that are hated by those who rule the lands. It highlights the open-world nature of AC4, including the enhanced naval gameplay, vibrant underwater areas, and expansive environments. You'll also be familiarized with some new combat features and weapons, including dual-sword attacks, multi-gun abilities, and the free-aim system.

You've got a week to study because Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is set to release on October 29, 2013 for Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U. Those of you getting it on next-gen have a bit longer as the Xbox One and PS4 version won't be released until the launch of each respective console. The PC version is coming November 19th as well.
