At PlayStation Experience 2016 last month, Capcom revealed the next entry in their wildly popular series Marvel vs. Capcom. Fans in the crowd went wild, but to tide fans over until the release of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, they revealed that Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was available on PS4 right after the show.
Capcom was quick to let fans know online that Xbox and PC players will get their chance to play the fan favorite game very soon, but they were reluctant to give a date. Now we have some answers! Capcom has finally given us a date for when Xbox One and PC players can jump into the action and that day is March 7th, 2017.
Fans can choose to purchase a digital copy for $24.99 or they can go to GameStop to pick up an exclusive physical copy which includes extra goodies. GameStop (or EB Games if you're outside of the United States) will offer an exclusive physical edition to Xbox One and PS4 players that comes with the game, updated cover art, and a 10-page comic book that details the unlikely crossover between Marvel and Capcom. The comic will feature illustrations from Marvel veterans Sean Chen (Iron Man, Wolverine) and Gerardo Sandoval (Venom). This physical edition will cost $29.99 at GameStop.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 launches March 7th, 2017 on Xbox One and PC. PlayStation 4 players can start playing today by purchasing it from the PlayStation Store.
