Undress to kill in Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed

Not too long ago I lamented to my friends and colleagues about my unhappiness with the Vita. Not particularly with the system or the games we get, but more so about the games we don't get. Seriously, do you know how many great titles we never get to see in the US? Akiba's Trip 2 was definitely one of them.

Not only a month later, it's as if XSEED have been made aware of my moping, and are now localizing Akiba's Trip 2, albeit under a different name, Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed. What is this crazy title?

Well, Akihabara, one of Tokyo's most popular otaku spots, has been invaded by creatures known as Synthisters, though they function a lot like vampires, if you replace their need for blood with sucking away energy to socialize. Crazy right? And the best way to defeat these creatures is through direct sunlight, and what is protects the body from direct sunlight? Clothes! That's right, you'll be stripping these creatures in broad daylight.

Doesn't the premise alone already sound like a must-have?! I'm already fully on-board, and can't thank XSEED enough for having the courage to bring this odd title to the US. The game will be available Summer 2014 on both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
