The bugs in Fallout 4 can be fun and weird, but some break the game and force players to restart their enitre game. That game breaking bug is something an unofficial patch for Fallout 4 on PC promises to fix.
Fallout players with a particular set of skills got tired of Bethesda taking so long to fix all the bugs in the game so they took matters into their own hands and created an unofficial patch that fixes a lot of bugs and other issues. The creators are aiming to fix EVERY bug and issue in the game. Quite ambitious.
"The goal of the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch (aka UFO4P) is to eventually fix every bug with Fallout 4 not officially resolved by the developers to the limits of the Creation Kit and community-developed tools, in one easy-to-install package."
This patch is being crafted by the same creators of the unofficial Skyrim and Oblivion patches, so these guys know what they are doing.
The patch fixes "hundreds of gameplay, quest, NPC, object, item, text and placement bugs" and will be compatible with as many other mods as possible. To be able to run this patch players needs to have the official Fallout 4 patch 1.5.146 downloaded as well.
Check out and download the patch for yourself.
