Valhalla map returns in Halo 4 as ‘Ragnarok’

Valhalla, the popular multiplayer map in Halo 3, will be making a return in Halo 4. However, it will be returning under a new name: Ragnarok.

Over the weekend, new screenshots and footage of the Ragnarok map were made available online. Ragnarok features the same valley and mountainous look as Valhalla, which was originally said to be a spinoff of the Blood Gulch map from Halo: Combat Evolved. In the screenshots you'll see some of the lovely Ragnarok environment along with a what looks to be an all-new mech vehicle similar to the ED-209 from Robocop.

Last week, we also got to see new footage from the third level of Halo 4's campaign as well as screenshots of the first mission, Dawn.
