Valkyria Chronicles is now a browser game

Sega has announced Valkyria Chronicles Duel, a free-to-play, browser-based version of the strategy game that's hitting Japan — which seems be a popular move lately, with Square Enix releasing Crystal Conquest in the same manner.

The game features 3D battles similar to those of past installments. Players can expand their base camps, capture opposing territories, and recruit new troop members on top of building their forces by collecting cards (over 200 characters in all).

You can watch the trailer below or visit the website, if inclined. So far Sega hasn't confirmed a release outside of Japan.
