Vampiric soulslike Code Vein out now, Check out the Launch Trailer

Bandai Namco’s long-announced third-person action-adventure RPG Code Vein is finally out now. You can get the game right now on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Here’s the launch trailer!

After a year-long delay, Code Vein has finally arrived. Even since its reveal has the action-adventure game been lovingly dubbed by gamers as anime souls, due to its art style and unmistaken inspiration from the Dark Souls franchise. Comparisons are running not that deep however and the game is much more than just a cheap imitation. The biggest differentiator From Software’s games is undoubtedly the presence and importance on a cohesive and traditional story.

Don’t worry though, all the great gameplay elements you’ve come to enjoy from Souls games such as finely crafted melee combat, punishing gameplay loop and larger-than-life bosses are still here. It’s only enhanced by characters and story.

Here’s the official description via Bandai Namco:

The world as we know it is gone. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. Those who remain fight for survival by acquiring Gifts of power in exchange for their memories, and an ever-increasing thirst for blood. Give into the bloodlust fully and risk becoming one of the Lost; fiendish ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity who wander aimlessly in search of blood. Team up and embark on a journey to the ends of hell to unlock your past and escape your living nightmare in Code Vein.
A story driven connected dungeon experience.
Team up with a cast of AI characters, each with a unique plot and fighting style.
Take on quests with your friends in online co-op
Customize your character, from appearance to playstyle, to fit the way you want to play.
