Viola Davis details the dead pig Jared Leto gifted the Suicide Squad cast

While Suicide Squad was filming it was revealed that the Joker actor Jared Leto had taken to Method acting while on the set. His hobby had quickly become terrifying his fellow cast members with a number of "gifts."

We heard about Margot Robbie and the rat, we heard about the bullets he sent to Will Smith, and something about a "dead hog" was mentioned, but never detailed. Luckily, Viola Davis (playing U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller in Suicide Squad) fessed up on the details around the pig.

All of this happened before she even said a word to Leto.

“He did some bad things, Jared Leto did,” she said. “He gave some really horrific gifts. He had a henchman who would come into the rehearsal room, and the henchman came in with a dead pig and plopped it on the table, and then he walked out. And that was our introduction into Jared Leto.”

Davis went on to explain that while the event was frightening, it made her realize she had to get into character and work it out. "Im terrified as a person thinking, is he crazy? The second part was, oh shit, I got to have my stuff together," said Davis."Then he sends Margot Robbie a black rat. It was still alive in a box, she screamed and then she kept it."
