Today Sega confirmed that Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown is headed to PSN on June 5 and XBLA on June 6.
Final Showdown, which adds characters Taka Arashi and Jean Kujo, will cost $14.99 or 1,200 Microsoft Points. The game features a Training Mode, Online Room Match Mode for up to eight players, and a match recording feature.
DLC will be available upon release, with character customization packs planned for the entire cast ($4.99/400 Microsoft Points each) and two more packs — one with nine characters’ worth of items and the other with 10 — set for launch, as well. The latter DLC will be priced at $14.99 or 1,200 Microsoft Points each.
Virtua Fighter 5 originally hit Japanese arcades in 2006 and came to North America one year later.
