Walmart discounts Xbox One and PS4 games for pre-Black Friday event

Walmart is hosting Black Friday a little early this year, offering select Xbox One and PlayStation 4 games at a slight discount.

The new promo, sent to BFAds, lists a number of next-gen games available for $49, about $10 cheaper than their regular price. The list of discounted games are as follow (both Xbox One and PS4 versions included):

  • Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag
  • Battlefield 4
  • Call of Duty: Ghosts
  • FIFA 14
  • NBA 2K14
  • Need for Speed Rivals
  • Madden NFL 25

Unfortunately, no first-party launch titles are being included, but those are still some pretty big games. Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 are easily two of this year's biggest blockbuster shooters, while EA's sports franchises are always a big hit.

$10 may not seem like a steep enough discount to go trekking out tomorrow, but considering most Black Friday deals aren't even offering next-gen titles, I have to say this is one of the better sales.

The pre-Black Friday event begins Friday, November 22. Doors open at 8:00am.
